Introducing
MineralProtect

MineralProtect™ is a water-based nano-coating engineered for porous mineral surfaces where moisture, oils, and grime typically embed and cause long-term degradation. Rather than sealing or blocking pores, it modifies surface behaviour to deliver durable hydrophobic protection while remaining fully breathable. Suitable for stone, grout, tile, and concrete, it preserves the natural finish and makes ongoing maintenance faster, easier, and far less chemical-dependent.

MineralProtect™ is a water-based, professional-grade nano-coating designed for porous and absorbent materials such as natural stone, engineered stone, grout, masonry, unglazed tiles, terracotta, concrete, and mineral composites. It penetrates below the surface at a molecular level to create a breathable, hydrophobic barrier that helps repel water, oils, and grime — without changing the appearance or texture of the material.

Porous surfaces are beautiful but highly vulnerable. They absorb liquids, oils, and contaminants, leading to embedded stains, moisture issues, mould growth, and premature weathering. MineralProtect™ solves this by bonding within the pore structure rather than sitting on top. The result is long-term protection that allows the surface to breathe naturally while making ongoing maintenance significantly easier.
Engineered for harsh Australian conditions, it’s UV-stable, VOC-safe once cured, and ideal for high-use areas across the home — from kitchens and bathrooms to alfresco paving and outdoor stonework. A DIY-ready format will also be available through our JUMBOGUARD™ retail range in 2026.

  • Deep-penetrating water and oil repellency
  • Helps slow staining, moisture absorption, and organic growth
  • Breathable, invisible finish — no surface film or gloss
  • UV and chemical resistance for indoor and outdoor durability
  • Suitable for all porous mineral substrates
  • Preserves colour depth and texture
  • Helps reduce efflorescence and weather-related deterioration

Unsealed stone and mineral surfaces act like a sponge — absorbing water, oils, pigments, and airborne contaminants that lead to staining, mould, and long-term degradation. MineralProtect™ penetrates the pore network and bonds at a molecular level, forming a durable repellent barrier from within the substrate that reduces the adhesion of contaminants, helping keep surfaces cleaner for longer with less scrubbing and a lower chemical load.

Note: Very light or raw, highly absorbent stones may experience slight darkening after application. Testing in an inconspicuous area or consulting your CompleteProtect™ technician is recommended.

  • Outdoor paving, limestone, concrete, and exposed aggregate
  • Pool surrounds, coping, and alfresco hard surfaces
  • Outdoor steps, landings, and pathways
  • Vertical stone cladding and architectural façades
  • Brickwork and masonry with high porosity
  • Front porch tiles and entryway stone
  • Bathroom floor tiles, wall tiles, and grout
  • Stone kitchen benchtops
  • Shower recesses with porous tile systems

From outdoor paving to premium stone benchtops, MineralProtect™ is designed for porous surfaces that need protection from within. It’s ideal for materials prone to staining, discolouration, moisture absorption, and everyday wear — without changing the natural look or texture.

Detailed applications around the home & beyond

Outdoor Paving (Limestone, Concrete, Exposed Aggregate, Travertine)

Designed for WA alfresco and garden areas. Repels oil drips, food spills, dirt, and weathering.

Vertical Stone Cladding & Architectural Elements

Ideal for modern builds with feature stone panels or porous façade materials. Helps reduce visible water marks and efflorescence.

Front Porches, Steps & Entry Paths

Popular for older WA homes with porous tiles or limestone steps. Helps prevent grime and water marks where people track dirt in and out.

Alfresco Entertaining Areas

Protects outdoor dining zones, built-in BBQ surrounds, and slab-tiled areas that see spills, foot traffic, and weather exposure.

Brickwork & Masonry

Useful on highly absorbent bricks or blockwork exposed to rain, garden overspray, or staining around hose points and taps.

Bathroom Floors, Walls & Grout

Ideal for porous ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone tiles. Helps minimise water staining, mould tendencies, and soap scum bonding — especially in WA’s hard-water areas.

Pool Surrounds & Coping

Helps resist moisture absorption, efflorescence, and surface darkening on limestone, concrete, or honed stone around pools and spas.

  • Base Chemistry: Water-based nano-coating for absorbent mineral substrates (stone, concrete, tiles, masonry)
  • Physical State: Low-viscosity, hazy liquid
  • pH: Mildly acidic (approx. 4–5)
  • VOC Content: Very low VOC; no strong odour
  • Flash Point: Not classified as flammable in its diluted, water-based form; safe when handled as directed
  • Allergen Info: Non-sensitising, no known allergens
  • Air Quality: Safe when applied with ventilation; negligible VOC after curing
  • Eye/Skin Contact (raw product): May cause mild irritation prior to curing. PPE worn by technicians
  • Handling Classification: Non-hazardous once cured; standard precautions apply during application

Is MINERALPROTECT safe for indoor and outdoor surfaces?

Yes. MineralProtect™ is a water-based nano-coating for absorbent mineral surfaces. Once fully dry, it is inert and safe for use on interior and exterior stone, tiles, grout, and masonry when used as directed.

Can it be used around kitchens, bathrooms, or living areas?

Yes. After curing, coated benchtops, splash zones, bathrooms, living areas, and high-traffic surfaces can be used as normal. The coating is invisible and does not leave a film, gloss, or residue on the surface.

Is it pet- and child-safe?

Yes. Once dry, MineralProtect™ does not transfer or off-gas and is safe for children and pets in regular household use. Technicians wear PPE only while handling the raw liquid during application.

Does it leave a smell or residue?

You may notice a light, temporary scent during application. This dissipates quickly with basic ventilation. The coating does not change the appearance or texture of the surface and does not leave a tacky or glossy layer.

Do I need to ventilate the area?

Some ventilation is recommended during and shortly after application. Normal airflow (open windows/doors or extraction fans) is sufficient in most homes.

Do we need to leave the home or vacate the area?

No. You can remain in the home during the process. The technician may cordon off freshly coated areas while they dry (typically 2–4 hours) to avoid footprints or smudging.
